Simon grew up in Kenya and developed a love of plants early on, joining his mother in their garden nursery. He later moved on to Australia to study horticulture and returned to Kenya to join the family business working as a landscape gardener. Seeing a gap in the market for the provision of large palms and other ornamental plants in Kenya, he created Mandhari Plants and Designs to provide consumers throughout Kenya with the opportunity to buy quality mature plants without having to go abroad for their requirements. Simon has a wealth of knowledge both about plants in general and more specifically about how to grow and care for plants in all regions Kenya. His expert advice sees him much in demand as a consultant both for landscaping and land management projects.
